About Us

At Bear Creek Pediatric Dentistry, it’s our goal to offer a comfortable environment while providing exceptional dental care for your child. We focus on preventative care and helping each child have a fun and positive experience. It’s our goal to treat each patient as we would our own children.

Dr Dixon

Dr. Dixon was born in Redding, California and raised in the Seattle area. He went to Brigham Young University in Utah where he received a degree in biology. He attended dental school in Cleveland, Ohio at Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated with honors. He then went on to receive two years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Florida where he was the Chief Resident his final year.

He became proficient in the current practices and techniques that enable children to have a positive and comfortable experience at the dentist and develop lifelong habits to be cavity free. Dr. Dixon loves to spend time with his wife Elise, and their four children. They enjoy just about anything outdoors: running, biking, swimming, hiking, fishing, and working in the garden.

Meet the Team

Toni—Office Manager

Toni does so much at the office from helping take x-rays in a pinch, to dealing with everything billing and insurance related, and she does it all with a smile! She is fabulous at what she does and we are so lucky to have her as a part of our team.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and she actively serves in her church and the community.

Melissa—Schedule Coordinator

Melissa’s happy and smiling face is most likely the first thing you will see when you come into our office. She is also master of the phones and also hablas espanol. In her spare time she likes to be outdoors—especially in the water. She loves spending time with friends, and traveling. Melissa is an invaluable member of our team and we are so glad to have her here!

Paula—Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Paula is an amazing assistant! She is calm, kind, and so good with kids. Her experience in dealing with special needs kids and being a Mom herself is evident in how well she connects with and her treatment of our patients. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family—hiking and boating.

Tawnee—Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Tawnee loves working with kids and it shows in her energy and positive attitude everyday at the office! She is cheerful and just so sweet! When she’s not at work she likes to spend time with her husband and family (and Netflix ) and she also loves corgis!

Maria—Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Maria’s can-do attitude makes it easy to work with her and we are lucky to have her here! She is great with our very young kids and also speaks Spanish. She’s an all around great asset to our team! In her spare time she likes to work out and spend time with family and friends and watch movies.

Kirsten—Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Kirsten’s soothing and unruffled manner make her the perfect assistant for working with kids. She is positive, friendly, and so easy and fun to work with. We are thrilled that she’s a part of our team! In her spare time she likes to do yard work, read, hike with her dogs, and do home improvement projects.
